A Day at Malvína
Every day at Malvína has its own clear rhythm, which gives children a sense of security, certainty, and natural order. At the same time, it is diverse enough for children to explore, create, move, learn, rest, and enjoy time with friends.
We always adapt the daily program to the age and needs of individual classes. We work differently with the youngest children compared to preschoolers, but always with an emphasis on an individual approach, quality education, kind care, and the joy of each day.
09:00
A calm start to the day, welcoming and gradually settling in. Children choose their own activities, developing motor skills, speech, and logical thinking. Room for individual speech therapy support.
09:30
Gathering in a circle, sharing, movement activities, rhymes, songs, and a voice warm-up. Children learn to listen, express a thought, and be mindful of others.
10:00
Time to recharge, and a daily lesson in itself — table manners, independence, and hygiene habits.
10:30
Focused work tailored to age and the week's theme. Stories, movement, music, crafts, language. Pre-math and pre-reading skills, fine motor development, creativity.
12:30
Outdoors every day — garden, parks, playgrounds, and the city. Running, climbing, observing nature, tending plants. Older children take part in trips and cultural outings.
13:00
Eating together in a calm, pleasant atmosphere. Age-appropriate independence, a healthy relationship with food, and respect for individual needs.
13:30
Pick-up for children attending mornings only. Teachers share brief feedback — what went well and what to build on at home.
14:45
Time to wind down and recharge. Younger children sleep, older ones rest with books or quiet activities. We respect each child's individual needs.
15:15
A gentle return to the more active part of the day. Eating together, chatting, sharing experiences, and getting ready for the afternoon program.
16:00
Movement, creative, music, or language activities for enrolled children. The rest of the children continue with the program that follows the week's theme.
18:00
Extended-hours "Plus" program. Calmer activities, free play, crafts, and books. Children go home happy, at the end of a wonderful day.
