A Confident Step into the First Grade

The Orange Class is the preschool class of Malvína and represents the final stage before entering primary school. Children here develop not only knowledge and skills, but above all independence, concentration, emotional stability, and the ability to manage new situations.

The transition to the first grade is a major life step. Our goal is for children to leave for school prepared, self-confident, and with a joy of learning.

We guide them toward patience, the ability to listen to instructions, focus on a task, complete an activity, and look for solutions even when something does not work out right the first time.

The program supports pre-reading and pre-mathematical literacy, graphomotor skills, speech, memory, logical thinking, attention, spatial orientation, fine and gross motor skills, and independent reasoning.
Children work individually, in pairs, and in groups to adopt various ways of working that await them at school.

We place great emphasis on cooperation with parents. We monitor the child’s progress, consult on their readiness, and highly recommend a school readiness assessment, based on which we can further adjust individual educational support.

Children leave the Orange Class ready for school as well as for the next phase of life – independent, inquisitive, kind, and internally secure.
